Welcome to Lade’s Bakes! A local, independent, family-owned bakery based in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Our head baker, Dominika, started by making cookies for friends and family, and loved the joy it brought them. News quickly spread of these “best I’ve ever had” cookies, and Dom soon found herself baking more treats, for more people, more often.
Everyone always said, “you should open your own business” - so, with the support of her husband Chris, she did!
We’re dedicated to bringing lovingly made treats to Chippenham and beyond; made with care, quality ingredients and a genuine love for baking. If you eat our bakes with a smile, we’ve already achieved everything we set out to.
Our freshly baked goods reflect the care and craft that goes into every order. We’re proud to offer generous, high-quality bakes without ever compromising on the standards people know and love from Lade’s Bakes.
We cater to individual orders, parties, weddings, corporate events and local community events. We can also deliver locally in and around Chippenham, Wiltshire.
You’ll find us at a variety of local markets and stocked at a small selection of brilliant local coffee shops, cafés and farm shops. If you’re a local business and would like to work with us, we also offer commercial and wholesale options - just get in touch!

BREADS, SOURDOUGH & NYC BAGELS
Hand-crafted breads, sourdough and New York-style bagels, freshly baked with care and quality ingredients.
Our breads and sourdough are made for proper flavour and texture, with a crisp outside and soft fluffy middle. Our much-loved bagels are boiled then baked for that classic bite, perfect for sandwiches, burgers, breakfast, or simply enjoyed on their own.
SAUSAGE ROLLS & PASTRIES
Homemade sausage rolls and pastries, properly filled and made with care.
Our much-loved sausage rolls are made with golden, flaky pastry and generous, high-quality fillings, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Alongside these, we offer a variety of other homemade pastries, from savoury options to sweet favourites, perfect for lunches, sharing, or enjoying as a proper homemade treat.
BROWNIES & BLONDIES
Rich, fudgy brownies and gooey blondies, packed with flavour and made from scratch.
Our brownies are indulgent, chocolatey and generously portioned, made to properly satisfy every chocolate craving. Blondies are the golden cousin of brownies - just as gooey and delicious, but made with brown sugar and vanilla for a sweet, buttery flavour that’s perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Fresh cakes and sweet loaves, made from scratch to suit all kinds of occasions.
From soft, delicious cakes that look just as good as they taste, to moreish homemade loaves like banana loaf, lemon drizzle and other seasonal favourites, we can create something simple, generous and full of flavour. CRUMBLE BUNS
Soft brioche-style buns topped with fresh fruit and a buttery crumble, made for an irresistibly moreish treat.
Inspired by the Polish sweet classic Drożdżówki, our crumble buns are soft, fruity and full of homemade flavour. Choose from a variety of fruit toppings and enjoy them as a sweet breakfast, afternoon treat, or something a little different for the table.
